Legacía was created in 2012 from an unwavering vision of two entrepreneurs with the same dream but with two very different nationalities: Sandra (from Mexico) and Amanda (from the United Kingdom). They consider themselves internationals as they have lived in many cities across the globe including Guadalajara, Texas, London, Amsterdam, Brussels, Florence and Rome, to name just a few … At the same time, Sandra dedicated herself to learning more and more her native Tequila and Mezcal, visiting all parts of Mexico where mezcal and tequilas are produced e.g. Oaxaca and Jalisco. She started to develop a deep connection for her legacy, her history and the Tequila and Mezcal production process. She trained as a Master Tequillier, which took great effort, dedication and love for the art of tequila. She acquired a wealth of experience, and she opened Casa Legacía (The House of Legacia) which focused on 100% agave Tequila and Mezcal.
