Picked by the Romans for its therapeutic virtues, wild strawberries spread through Europe during the 17th century. Crème Fraise des Bois is produced according to the traditional maceration process, followed by a harmonious blend of different varieties which restore its typicity, in an extraordinary powerful and delightful flavours that appeal to all your senses.
Pure or mixed with white wines, cremant or champagne, it guarantees the very best quality of cocktails. “Strawberry Daiquiri“: 2 cl of Briottet Wild Strawberry Cream, 5 cl of Briottet White Rum, 3 cl of lemon juice, 0.5 cl of sugar, and a half-cup of strawberries. Mix all of the ingredients in a blender with crushed ice. Founded in 1836 as a negotiate business, the family business of Maison Briottet gradually moved its focus to producing fruit cremes, liquors, brandies and Marcs de Bourgogne. The current managing director, Gerard Briottet, represents the fourth generation, and maintains the traditions started by his great grandfather, Edmond Briottet, of exclusively selling to the traditional sector of wine shops, delicatessens, hotels, bars and restaurants.
