A Greek legend of yore tells the story of the young Myrsine, a maiden who was worshiped like a Goddess. It's from that same legend the Myrsine liqueur Estate got its name, as a good omen that, since 2004, has followed the estates constant evolution and witnessed its success.
Myrsine Liquori is a small factory, where every stage of production is meticulously carried out on site.
To prepare Myrsine Mirto, the estate pick the berries, remove their leaves and carefully wash them. Afterwards, put them in infusion in steel silos for about 40 days. Then prepare a syrup with water and sugar, blend it with the infusion of myrtle berries - that has an intense aroma and a dark purplish colour - and, after the chemical analysis, finally bottle the finished product. This infusion process applies to other products such as the Liquirizia, Limoncino, Melone and Amaro d'Oliense, the last born of our range, made with a delicious infusion of herbs. To make the Filu e' Ferru, Myrsine liqueurs let the grapes ripe until the first days of November, so that, after the distillation process, obtaining a grappa with delicate taste and exquisite aroma.
