Located in historic Monforte D'Alba Ca' Brusa will be certified organic with the release of the 2012 vintage. Their vineyards are planted on clay over limestone with an average vine age of 35 years. Vinification is traditional with long macerations and fermentation and ageing in both barrique and bottle from 10 to 15 months and an additional 18 months in the bottle before release. The Holiday Farm is an oasis of tranquility where, together with the beauty of the landscape, it is possible to find some of the best that the Langhe can offer. At first, there was just “grandpa Giovanni”, who planted the dolcetto and barbera vineyards with skill and passion, tending them for the lifetime he spent working the land he had loved since he was a child. Then, with the inevitable passing of time, the farm was taken over by his son, Diego, and grandsons Luca and Dario.
