The Rabbit in the Moon The Birth of a Legend The brand logo “El Conejo en la Luna”, the essence of all that is good. It was born as a token of appreciation to the Mexican people, their culture, and their traditions. It also incorporates the manner of respect that the Aztecs and the Mayans held for the lunar scape. These two cultures believed that the moon reflected their status as lunar beings maintaining a kinship with a star (the sun) that died and was reborn daily. The rabbit in our logo represents the struggle to overcome preoccupation with one’s ego and material state. It’s said that when we die, we remain attached to physical things.
