Franco Roero vineyards are situated in Zucchetto, in the area of Montegrosso d’Asti; and it is in this area, one of the most beautiful and evocative areas of Monferrato, here resides Franco Roero. The surrounding nature, the vineyards, the rolling hills and the breathtaking scenery are all typical of Piedmont... of a Piedmont of yesteryear, rich with traditions, history, culture and passion for work... of a Piedmont associated with the land, with grapes, with wine. In fact, Monferrato, with its wonderful hills, along with Langhe and Roero, was declared a Unesco World Heritage site on 22nd June 2014.
The particular hydrogeological conformation of the land, together with the dry continental climate (hot summers and droughts and particularly cold winters) make this a region that is prevalently dedicated to viticulture and, in particular, to the production of red wines.
Franco Roero Philosophy is the Quest for Quality.
