Ca’ Brusà Menico DOCG 2013 BAROLO, 100% Nebbiolo grapes that are cared for and handpicked on the farm’s own fields near Monforte d’Alba in northwestern Italy. 13,5% Piedmont Region. Distinguished by its strong tannins, high acidity and distinctive scent. Maturing in small oak barrels for 15 months, followed by 10 months in 25-hl casks and a year in the bottle prior to its release. Bright, intense garnet red, with slight orangery undertones. The wine in the glass is beautiful and light grenade red with light orange tones from time to time. The taste experience is pure and intense, the flavours are rich and evolving with lovely tones of plums, cinnamon, violet, cherry and licorice.. The wine has a full body with amazingly released aromas and a persistent comfortable aftertaste. The whole experience is framed by the wonderful aromas that are released and the wines beautiful texture. On the palate it is full-bodied, warm and round, with appealing long aftertaste.
