Briottet Absinthe , (25% alcohol content)

Absinthe which for years was produced in Pontarlier in the east of France and then prohibited due to medical risks is again legal. The wormwood plant is grown in Pontarlier, France and then distilled along with green aniseed. When tasting it you will note a taste somewhat similar to that of aniseed but very different at the same time: an incomparable flavour.

An extraordinary product that you really do need to taste as soon as you can!

With its classic silver-green foliage and nodding yellow flowers, true wormwood is a worthy garden plant and thrives on dry edges and in the full sun. This is the plant that is used for making traditional bitters, also an ingredient in absinthe in much larger quantities, and also used in herbal medicine as an effective vermifuge.
